Honoring Jan Pitchford
Jan Lee Pitchford Resident of San Pablo Jan died in the arms of his family Sunday, February 21, 2010, at Stanford Hospital after a valiant 4 month battle. Jan became a member of Pinole Hercules Little League in the 1980's. Throughout the years he volunteered as a manager, coach, player agent and umpire. In fact, in 1988, Jan was one of the founding members of the Pinole Hercules Umpire Association. Whether he was volunteering in the dugout, on the field, behind the plate, at meetings or other functions, we will always remember his great sense of humor and smile.

A celebration of Jan's life will be held on Saturday, March 27th, noon-3pm at the Pinole Youth Center, 635 Tennent Avenue in Pinole. Your thoughts and prayers can be shared on the web at GuestBook
